Example Developing learning goals as lesson outcomes When planning units of work or lessons, it is important to ensure they meet the ACARA learning outcomes. This provides students with guidance regarding what they are aiming to achieve, and also assists educators in selecting appropriate pedagogies and teaching strategies. Below is a lesson designed for year 3/4 students. Outcomes are clearly identified and lesson content supports the achievement of these outcomes. Learning adjustments are included to cater for low, middle and high groups of students.
